Guidelines For Introduction Of European Standards In The Field Of Construction In The Federation PDF Print E-mail
  

The Government on its 64th session adopted project for the preparation of Guidelines for introduction of European standards (or so called “Eurocodes’), from the field of construction in the Federation of BiH.  The purpose of guidelines for introduction of Eurocodes is to, in the absence of national application documents (Bosnian BAS standards), provide necessary conceptual settings and practical guidelines for the production of rulebooks according to the Law on spatial planning and land utilization on the Federal level.

Federal ministry of physical planning as a body responsible for the preparation of guidelines will appoint a group of experts for professional monitoring, guiding and appraisal of individual guidelines for all parts of Eurocodes.

Main designer for Guidelines will be selected in the ongoing procedure of public tendering.

 
Conctract Signed For Preparation Of The Master Plan For The Historic City Core Of Mostar PDF Print E-mail
Federal minister of physical planning M. sci. Salko Obhodas signed in Mostar a rp mostarContract for preparation of the Master plan for the historic city core of Mostar with Turkish company BIMTAS. On behalf of BIMTAS Company contract was signed by Mr. Ahmet Agirman General Director.

 

 

Because of exceptional cultural historic, ambiance and other values and resources of the historic city core of Mostar it is necessary to establish appropriate measures for protection, development, utilization and management for the above mentioned area.

And all this in order to:

  • Preserve original ambiance and other cultural-historic values,
  • Permanently preserve integral area and its most vulnerable parts on principles of modern methodology of ecological and spatial planning and in accordance with provisions of environmental legislative,
  • Enable development of appropriate economic activities based on the principle of sustainable development,
  • Raise awareness of local community and of public on importance of protection and preservation of cultural – historic values.

 

Practicaly, the Master plan preparation will acheive Metropolitan Planning & Urban Design Center led by prof.dr. Ibrahim Baz.

IMP has successfully developed modern technological achievements in the process of preparation of planning documentation and the representative of the company expressed his readiness to apply this technology for production of digital 3D model of the historic city core.

The contract was signed after the city of Istanbul and BIMTAS Company expressed their interest to donate preparation of the Master plan of the historic city core of Mostar.

Protection and preservation of National monuments PDF Print E-mail

Several contracts related to co financing of protection and preservation of National monuments have been signed on behalf of Federal Ministry of Physical Planning. According to the contracts national monuments in Zenica-Doboj Canton, Bosna- podrinje Canton will be protected and preserved from further deterioration and three national monuments in Tuzla Canton and two in Posavina Canton.

Contracts signed in Zenica, for the area of Zenica-Doboj Canton, pertain to the following national monuments: Old Town Visoki in Visoko, Medieval town Bobovac, Kalafun Jusufpasa Mosque (Kursumlija) in Maglaj, Monastery Vozuca in Vozuca- Municipality Zavidovici, and Franciscan Monastery Kraljeva Sutjeska in Kakanj municipality. Amount of 616.000,00 KM have been planned for the realization of these projects related to protection and renovation of above mentioned national monuments in 2008. Contract for renovation and rehabilitation of Tekke in Zivcici – Fojnica municipality, was also signed in Zenica.

Contracts signed in Gorazde, for the area of Bosna-podrinje Canton, pertain to the following national monuments: Sinan Bey's Mosque in Gorazde, historical area graveyard complex – graveyard in Presjeka near Ustikolina, Sijercic's Turbets in Sijercici, necropolis of Stecak "Lug" in Zupcici, and Semiz Ali-pasha's Mosque and Turbe in Praca. Amount of 352.000,00 KM have been planned for the realization of these projects related to protection and renovation of above mentioned national monuments in 2008.

Contracts signed in Gracanica pertain to renovation and restoration of architectural unit – Old Mosque Soko in Gracanica, Old Mosque with harem in Spionica – municipality Srebrenik, and Turalibey's Mosque in Tuzla.

Amount of 352.000,00 KM have been planned for the realization of these projects related to protection and renovation of above mentioned national monuments in 2008.

Contracts signed in Orasje pertain to renovation and restoration of "Little Town hall" in Odzak, and Monastery with parish church in Tolisa – Orasje municipality.

Amount of 264.000,00 KM have been planned for the realization of these projects related to protection and renovation of above mentioned national monuments in 2008.

In order to preserve, rehabilitate, and reconstruct National monuments designated as National monuments of BiH by the Decision of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments of BiH, Federal Government adopted Program of funds distribution for co financing cantonal and local projects related to protection of cultural and architectural heritage.

Grantees expressed their contentment with the activities of the Federal Government and with those of Federal Ministry of Physical Planning, directed towards preservation and rehabilitation of cultural and architectural heritage in BiH.

Contracting parties agreed to immediately implement granted projects in accordance with contracted obligations and legal procedures.

Federal minister of physical planning M. Sci. Salko Obhodas signed 1.748.000,00 KM Contracts for co financing of renovation and protection from further deterioration National monuments in Herzegovina Neretva Canton, namely for – Mosque of Ali Pasha Rizvanbegovic in Buna, Franciscan monastery and church of The Blessed Virgin Mary in Scit – municipality Prozor-Rama, Church of St. Elias The Prophet in Krusevo – Mostar, Parish church in Cherina by Citluk, church of St. Peter and Paul in Osanici by Stolac, church of St. Nicholas in Trijebanj – municipality Stolac, Minster – church of the holly trinity in Mostar, monastery Zavala, municipality Ravno, historical area of the Old Town Blagaj in Blagaj, House of the Turkovic family in Stolac, historical site – necropolis with tombstones (ste?ci) in Radimlja by Stolac, Historical area Old Town Stolac, archaeological site Hellenistic town Daorson in Osanici – municipality Stolac and Vjetrenica cave – municipality Ravno.

In order to protect, renovate and reconstruct monuments designed as National monuments of BiH by Decision of the Commission to preserve national monuments of BiH, Government of FBiH adopted Program of distribution of funds for co financing projects of cantons and local communities – cultural and architectural heritage protection. This Program defines individual projects of protection and renovation of National monuments in 2008, and also determines amount of funds provided for the above mentioned purposes.

In his opening speech Federal minister of physical planning M. Sci. Salko Obhodas emphasized importance of protection, rehabilitation and reconstruction of cultural and architectural heritage in BiH, and expressed resoluteness of the Government of FBiH to protect National monuments from further deterioration.

Beneficiaries expressed their satisfaction with activities of Federal government and of Federal minister of physical planning, directed towards protection and renovation of cultural and architectural heritage, not only in this Canton but also on the entire territory of Federation BiH.

Conclusion of this meeting was to immediately proceed with implementation of granted projects in accordance with contracted obligations and legal procedures.
