Decision on spatial plan preparation for areas with specific characteristics of significance for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina “Corridor Vc Highway” was adopted  by the FBIH Government at its 51st session held on 04 April 2008.
BiH Federation Parliament House of Representatives adopted the Decision at its twelfth session held on 27 May 2008, while   BiH Federation Parliament House of Peoples adopted the Decision at its fourteenth session held on 17 July 2008.
The Decision was published in the FBIH Official Gazette No: 48/08.

Federal Minister of Physical Planning approved public procurement by means of open procedure for selection of the most favorable bidder for preparation of the Spatial pan of areas with specific characteristics of significance for the FBIH “ Corridor Vc Highway” on 25 July 2008. Following the public procurement procedure in accordance with the BIH Public Procurement Law, Consortium: IPSA Institute, BIH Urban Planning and Eco –plan Mostar  - has been selected as the Consultant for preparing Spatial plan for the areas with specific characteristic of significance for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina “ Corridor Vc Highway”.
The Contract on Spatial plan preparation for the areas with specific characteristics of significance for the FBIH “ Corridor Vc Highway” was signed on 03 October 2008. 

Federal Ministry of Physical Planning has started an initiative by the Commission to preserve national monuments in order to harmonize protected area boundaries with those of buffer zone area, that  is inscribed into the World Heritage List and to amend the Decision on designation of historical urban area of Mostar a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Commission to preserve national monuments has adopted a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on designation of historical urban area of Mostar a national monument.
Tender documentation including the project task has been prepared to provide services for preparation of the Master plan for the historical urban area of Mostar.
Following the visit of the Federal Minister of Physical Planning to the Mayor of Istanbul, City Planning Center of the City of Istanbul expressed willingness to extend its assistance in preparation of digital 3D model of the old town of Mostar. The FBIH Government also supported and approved realization of the project at its 5oth session.
Cooperation with the City Planning Center of the City of Istanbul has been extended in terms of preparation of the master plan for the historical urban area of Mostar that will be provided by the respective Center in a form of a donation. Upon the FBIH Government’s approval an Agreement and Contract on providing services for preparation of the Master plan for the historical urban area of Mostar.

The first phase of the 3D digital survey of the historical urban area was successfully completed in August 2008.

Processing of data collected is currently being performed. 

Ongoing activities concerning preparation of the Spatial plan of Una River Basin

Following the international restricted procedure with prequalification a Contract on preparation of the Spatial Plan for areas with specific characteristics of significance for the FBIH “ Una River Basin” has been signed with the most favorable bidder: BIH Urban Institute d.d.Sarajevo, Contract No: 02-14-4-195/08 dated 06 March 2008.

The Council of the Spatial plan for areas with specific characteristics of significance for the FBIH “ Una River Basin”  2007-2027 was established by  Decision No: 02-23-128/08-1 dated 08 February 2008.

The Council met in constituting session in Bihac on 06 March 2008.

The Spatial base is currently under the preparation process and based on the envisaged dynamics  its completion is expected by August 2008.
