Pursuant to regulations of Law on physical planning and land use on federal level of Federation of BiH (“Official gazette of Federation of BiH”, No 2/06) and to regulations about technical inspection of construction (“Official gazette of Federation of BiH”, No 21/06) federal minister appoints commission for technical inspection of constructions from the Federal authority, and on proposal of the head of procedure, and from the extended list of experts, specialists from particular fields which fulfill requirements from the article 68. line 5, 6, 7 and 8. of Law on psychical planning and land use on federal level.

Biennially Federal Ministry of Physical Planning in mass media announce public invitation for submission of CVs with references for graduate engineers who fulfill requirements for the list and participation in commissions for the technical inspection of constructions and works.

Competency  exam

Within its competence, the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning organizes competency exams for bachelor’s degree, not bachelor’s degree and technicians covering the areas as follows:  architecture, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, traffic, and transport engineering. Applicants shall have al least two years of work experience in the respective field.

Validation Board

Federal Minister of Physical Planning appoints seven members and the Chairman of the Validation Board for a period of five years ( 05/02-2-222/08 from 05 March 2008) for the purpose of providing, extending and withdrawal a license  for validation  of foreign diplomas and monitoring the procedure of validation projects.

Project monitoring Commission:

  In accordance with the Decision No.: 01-23-1-154/07, 01-23-1-154-1/07 and 01-23-1-154-2/07, Minister of the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning established the Monitoring Commission for project implementation, covering all implementation phases: “Preparation of the digital orthophoto plan of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

Council of the Spatial Plan of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Pursuant to the Law on Spatial Planning and land utilization on federal level of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( “ Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, No. 20/04, 2/08) and pursuant to the Decree on access preparation of the Spatial plan of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for a period 2008-2028 (“Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina” No. 20/04, 2/08) Minister of the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning appointed the members of the Council of the Spatial Plan of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina comprising experts, researchers, public and other persons. Appointees will be responsible for all implementation phases, for required professional monitoring, guiding and determination of the concept of the Spatial Planning.

The Council provides its Opinion for each phase of the Spatial plan of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (pre-draft, draft and proposal), and in  case of conflict of interest in sectors, of conflict of interest between two or more cantons and of conflict of interest of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and certain cantons.

Council of the Spatial plan  “ Una River Basin”

Pursuant to the Law on Spatial Planning and land utilization on federal level of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( “ Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, No. 20/04, 2/08) and pursuant to the Decree on spatial plan preparation for the areas with specific characteristics of significance for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina –– “ Una River Basin” for a period 2007-2027 ( “ Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, No.79/07), Federal Ministry of Physical Planning is responsible for preparation of the Spatial plan. Accordingly, Minister of the respective Ministry appointed members of the Council of the Spatial Plan of areas with specific characteristics of significance for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – “ Una River Basin” for a period 2007-2027.

  During the preparation and drafting procedure of the Spatial plan of areas with specific characteristics -“ Una River Basin”, the Council will provide its assistance to the carrier of the preparation of the plan in harmonizing  sectorial policies, selecting experts and competent institutions for studies, elaborates etc. In addition it provides its opinion on comments and proposals, that are obtained during public discussions and it takes part in other activities, that are defined by Decree on Spatial plan preparation up to adoption of the Spatial plan of areas with specific characteristics - “ Una River Basin”.
